Toolkit graduation & NCA accreditation

Celebrating our Toolkit Graduates!  

Last Friday, we held our Final Transition Event for the May-August 2025 cohort of welding and solar trainees. The event was a resounding success, as our graduates were officially accredited as certified technicians by the NCA.  

During the session, we provided clear communication and set expectations to empower our trainees for their transition into the industry. They learned about Toolkit’s criteria for success, including taking initiative, proving their skills, communicating effectively, and preparing for NITA exams. 

Trainees were also informed about the available attachment opportunities across Kisumu, Nakuru, Athi River, Mombasa and beyond. We encouraged them to be proactive in their job search, while also highlighting the importance of considering logistics like transport and accommodation.
